Stone Arbor Kids

Partnering with parents to raise the next righteous generation.

Kids are an important part of the Stone Arbor Family! Our hope is that Stone Arbor is your child’s favorite Sunday morning destination. Our goal is to team with parents as you lay a spiritual foundation that will lead a child into a relationship with God, through Jesus Christ.

We offer Sunday classes for birth – 6th grade. Our classes are taught by caring and safe teachers and are centered around the needs of the children for each age range. We want your children to be safe while experiencing a morning filled with fun, movement, biblical teaching and music.

FAQs

  • At Stone Abor Kids FUN is a high priority! We want to be the highlight of your child’s week! Each class is carefully planned to meet the developmental needs of every age. Our younger classes are very hands-on. Young children will learn about Jesus using lots of games, crafts, and playing. Older kids are separated in boys and girls classes. These classes teach kids to follow God in a way that is fun, engaging and purposeful. It is our joy to invest in the lives of your children and to be a part of them becoming men and women of God.

  • During our check-in procedure, every child receives a printed name tag which displays the child’s name, age, any important allergy information and also a unique code. You will also receive a tag with this code. Our classroom teachers check the codes of the parents at pick up time to be sure that children are only released to their own families. During class, if your child ever became ill or injured, we are able to send you a text to let you know.

  • We take your child’s safety very seriously. All of our teachers go through background screening and a training process to ensure they’re qualified to work in our KidZone. We also have a security team overseeing all of our facilities.

    Other safety procedures:
    – Dedicated safety team
    – Strict control of exits and entrances along with other safety protocols
    – Name tag system so only a parent can check out their child
    – First Aid
    – Certified CPR leaders
    – Background checks for all teachers.
    – Sickness Precautions
    – Hand sanitizer
    – Hand washing after the bathroom
    – Toy sanitization

  • Snacks are provided for all ages. We have options for kids with allergies. When you register your child, you will be able to let the Kid’s Ministry staff know of any allergies. This will be put on the student’s name tag for classroom staff to follow.

Note: Do to allergies, please do not bring any personal snacks to class for your children. If you wish to feed them something special you may do so before or between services. Exceptions will be made for children with allergies.

  • We love babies! Our nursery is prepared to care for infants from birth to 18 months. Our nursery team is an all female team so moms can feel comfortable coming in to nurse their babies at any time. Our team is trained to care for even the youngest infants so you can attend the Church service and fully engage. We can text you if your baby needs anything, and you will be right next door.

  • Parents are welcome to observe in any of our classrooms in which they have a child. Parents who desire to observe in their child’s classroom can pick up a visitor’s badge at the check-in table. For security purposes however, visitors (people other than parents) are not allowed in the Kids’ Ministry rooms during times of operation.
