Neighborhood Groups

Life is best lived together.

Neighborhood Groups provide you with the space to take your next steps with Jesus in the context of biblical community.

Joining a group can be a catalyst for growth in your life; a place to serve, grow and belong. It’s our desire that every adult at Stone Arbor would participate in a Neighborhood Group. There is a place for you.

  • Neighborhood Groups are a group of 12-25 adults that gather weekly to connect through meaningful conversation, learn how to apply God’s word to our lives, socialize, and serve with one another. These groups will last 19 months with ample breaks for holidays and Summer. You can switch groups if your life circumstances change.

  • Any adult, 18 and up, can sign up for one of our groups. It doesn’t matter if you have attended Stone Arbor for years or you have only attended once. Even if you're not really sure you believe in the God of the Bible yet; you are welcome to sign up. If you are younger than 18 but have graduated high school you are eligible to sign up for a group.

  • When you sign up you will receive an email letting you know you have been accepted to the group. Within a week, your leader will send out a welcome message and a reminder for your first meeting.

  • There is no commitment to signing up for a Neighborhood group. Your attendance is up to you. In fact, if the group you first signed up for is not a good fit you can leave that group and try out another of our open Neighborhood Groups.

  • Most groups will offer a childcare solution. Your leader will be contacting you regarding their specific childcare plan. Most childcare is on-site at the group host’s home.

  • No, we encourage you to only sign up for one group at a time as space is limited. If your group is not a good fit, you are more than welcome to try out another open Neighborhood Group.
